As a newbie, I welcome the option of paying someone to help me if I
need it. In time, I will be one of the experts and offer free and possibly
paid advice to others. I have gone through this before in other areas, going
from newbie to expert over time and having roles reversed. I guarantee that
I will ask at least one person on the list to do work that I pay them for as
I get my Raq act together. And, by the way, this is one of the best tech
lists I have been on (I don't mind the occasional OT postings (the 'anatomy'
thread was a great laugh break) and I don't mind people mentioning briefly
what services they offer for a fee).
