Re: Cobaltracks was RE: [cobalt-users] should I buy into RaQ3

I agree completely. I used to have quite a few IP addies with
CobaltRacks. When I moved and updated all of my DNS records,
Netf*cked Solutions didn't update their database. I can't tell that
they update it at all, with the exception of brand new domains.
Shortly thereafter another list member who had gotten a RaQ there and
had gotten my old IPs contacted me, because NS still had the IPs
pointing to me. There wasn't anything that I or CobaltRacks could do,
that member had to contact NS directly and tell them to get their
stuff straight.

I abhor NS with every fiber of my being. They charge 3 times as much
as everyone else, their support sucks eggs, their email MAIL-FROM
never works properly, and the new web interface sucks as well.
Add to it the fact that you can update your records and never see the
change in their database and... well... how many times can I say that
they suck without being repetitive? It's a horribly mismanaged
company taking every fool they can get to the cleaners and back.

>From now on, use a different registrar - transfer all of your domains
off of NS ASAP. Dotster, last time I checked, was running an $11.95
transfer special and they have a fantastic, fast interface (as well
as an API you can merge into your site).

Side note: This is another one where the sig line is just too
appropriate! Think of NS as the big brother gov't... *grin*
