What you advocate is OK for the user's inbox, and perhaps this is what
Francine was asking. Upon reflection I don't know. What I posted a couple of
days ago related to my supposition that mail was getting stuck in the
*queue*.
Francine if you are still reading list traffic, please tell us if you mean
mail was getting stuck in the user's mail spool or in the Qube mailqueue.
That would help us understand what the problem is.
However, what we have here is 2 "howto's" for mail getting jammed in either
place.
Carrie if you're reading this I'll condense these two answers into one
cohesive document and send it to you for possible inclusion in that really
groovy knowledgebase you're building.
James, thanks for this howto which is a valued addition the collective list
knowledge. I must admit I didn't know anything about the -f switch on "mail"
<chuckle> I haven't used "mail" in years.
