Hi Jay,
You're not the only person experiencing this problem.
Like you I don't believe that it comes from an upgrade,
because we have got the same error message on several of our Cobalts, each
with different level of patches.
One of our machines started returning these messages and a couple of days
after the data base collapsed :-((
The machine worked fine same for the GUI except for the fact that it didn't
list anything, contained in the database.
However only the Postgres specific tables were damaged not the cobalt
tables, so we basically copied the postgres table from another sain cobalt
to the rotten one and everything worked fine again.
But on our other two machines with this syndrom, the database seems to
resist.
So I'm just as puzzled as you. but I make regular back ups of the cobalt
base !!! just in case.
