Re: [cobalt-users] Cobalts for sale (now completely OFF TOPIC)

"Dan Kriwitsky" <webhosting@xxxxxxxxx> recently continued his rant with:

>As a small business owner trying to grow, I have benefited from doing
>business with a contributor to this list. He didn't post an ad for his
>services, but contributed to the list and used his sig to indicate his
>services. As the META FAQ points out the available places to advertise,
IMO,
>there is no need to post blatant ads to the list. I'm sure I could have
>benefited from buying any of the myriad products I read about in Spam sent
>to me, but I don't do business with spammers.

As is also suggested in the META FAQ, could those of you who feel the need
to continue this (or any other similar thread) please consider changing the
subject line on your posts to indicate that it they are way off topic for
the purpose of this list. It would make allow those of us who consider our
time valuable to bypass the pissing contests.

Please understand this is not a criticism of anyone's position, just a
request in the interest of efficiency. I've learned valuable lessons from
reading this list for the past several months but find I'm spending a lot of
time opening posts that are just examples of people either trying to police
the conduct of others or other people trying to justify their original
posts. Both are a waste of my time and I would appreciate some assistance
in minimizing that waste.

Thanks in advance for any consideration you might be able to muster.

Regards,

Dan Miller
