Help!
I had a perfectly working single domain on a RaQ3 this afternoon. While some
http access serving Java Servlets was being tested. The server quit
responding. I performed a top and saw nothing extraordinary. I rebooted the
machine. It came up. The LCD read the IP, however the host.domain name had
been replaced with: [none]. I pressed the select button on the panel and
found that it had forgotten it's gateway as well.
I have not been able to get httpd back up since. All the normal config files
look good in /etc. I even ran meta-verify which reports everything in order.
I turned off the mechanism in httpd.conf that starts JServ. I still cannot
get Apache to spring to life.
If someone can offer answers, it would be greatly appreciated.
It's Friday night. I was supposed to be driving 8 hour north to my fiancee's
house.
Guess what I'm doing on Friday night?
TIA,
Glenn
