Another one for you guys...
One thing I've seen happen a couple times is that a RaQ will suddenly
refuse authentication for users through pop. I know how to solve single user
authentication problems, but a couple times it has gone defunkt with every
user on the server. There are no noticable oddities in the maillog, every
other form of login-gimmie-your-password service authenticates, simply
restarting the indivual services (tried inet sendmail and smb) doesn't
affect anything, and if you reboot the pretty blue box all together then
everything mysteriously starts workings again.. then it will happen again
days/weeks/months later with no reason why.. Months probably isn't right
just because I usually do a reboot just to clear up the services every now
and again..
So... any idea's out there in user land?
