Cool...I was a little concerned, since the latest version is 1.3.10-7. I
pulled both from redhat.com, and was wondering which to use.

I always recommend to folks new to ipchains the ipchains-HOWTO at:
http://www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/IPCHAINS-HOWTO.html
...which has some great information, and is worth keeping locally as a
reference even if you're used to firewalling/forwarding.

Actually, that's also on my list-of-things-to-do ASAP; would you recommend
using the 2.9p1-1 .pkg available on pkg.nl.cobalt.com, or the 2.9p2 tarball
at openssh.org? (The .pkg is obviously less work to install, but if I should
have the latest-and-greatest, I'll cheerfully install from source.)
Thanks for the info!
