If there's a package you want and it's available for RedHat 6.2, you very
likely will be able to install it on a RaQ without any problems.

Why not the rpms from openssh.org? Check the 'portable' stuff.
For me, ssh'ing to the machine, wgetting the rpms, suing to root and
upgrading the packages works a lot faster than loading a webbrowser, fire up
the GUI and install/upgrade the pkg. Plus, with all the rpms in place, I am
sure of having each and every component I need.
Subscribe to the anounce-list from openssh.org and you'll be informed
promptly of new releases. That way you can run bleeding edge software
without having to build from source every time. ;-)
