The best solution currently for backup is to use the CMU and then tar up the
resulting directory and ftp it somewhere else. Your method will backup data
but not all the database entries, passwords etc required.
Please don't shoot the messenger I know the backup doesn't work as do a lot
of people internally who either use RaQs or deal with customers its as
frustrating for us as you. I wish it would either be fixed or a patch to
remove it and let a third party come out with a backup solution that works.
