This year SEUL has a booth at Linux World Expo. I again will be the pramary
person manning the booth. As of now, it looks like I will be doing it
nearly solo as all the folks that would help with the task are either out of
the area traveling or keeping to their work-cubicles as a part of retaining
those very precious jobs.
I am fairly certain that there are many of you that are planning on
attending the Expo. Please come help us staff the SEUL Booth.
(www.SEUL.org) We have a decent location in the dot org pavillion, and plan
on having lots of fun.
Are there plans for a party? I expect there will be a cool reception or two
to visit again this year. Last year AMD threw a major party that provided
as much to consume as your gluttinous little hedonistic friends could
handle, and then more. A few other folks rolled out lesser parties, but
all-in-all the parties have potential for being awesome.
What do I get in exchange for helping? You can have the comfort of knowing
that you will have status similar to the Debian Develeopers, the Free
Software Foundation Freaks, and the NetBSD Devils. They walk around wearing
a special badge declaring they more than the common attendee. You will have
a badge declaring you to be an *Exhibitor* as opposed to merely
Exhibits-Only.
If you are so blessed as to be attending as a Conference attendee, we may
consider bowing to you as you are part of the reason the show continues. If
you wish to join us as a conference attendee, helping in the booth, we can
still provide you with an *Exhibitor* badge. Then you can be part of the
limited group that has two or more badges.
Come join us, please.
