Hi Carrie,

IDE drives should not be a problem at all - we recently restored a Qube2
and a Qube3 from their restore CDs.
Not all of our multiple created CDs (for backup purposes) boot on all
PCs, so maybe you would like to try the CD in some other PCs and if it
boots install the proper NIC into that machine.
Even on the same PC, sometimes they boot, sometimes they don't ...

Besides : we have never been able to receive a restore CD for our Qube2
through our distributor here in Germany - after a few weeks the notified
us that they were unable to get one from Cobalt. Fortunately getting the
.iso worked ...
