I just did this, called them up, and requested a restore cd. No questions
asked they sent it out.

Whether it actually arrives or not remains to be seen, the whole deal seemed
a bit too easy after everything else I've been through.

        I know quite a few people have been looking for OS Restore CDs. I
couldn't get the Qube2.iso image from ftp.n1.cobalt.com to work at all, and
I downloaded it twice and tried to burn from multiple operating systems.
Once I called Sun, they shipped me one overnight, free of charge. Probably
since they come with all new models anyway...

        I just wanted to pass that on in case some people are running into
the same problems as me. 1-888-702-6225 is their number.
