Dan, there is a logic to the simple post that you object to. I see that it
is not spam, but a person seeking a market for the company they have.
Unless I have missed my guess, one needs to be a member to post on this
list. It is not hard to do, and it verifies that the pereson is somewhat
for real. As a matter of fact, Paul *IS* a member of this list, and has
posted.

If I can venture a guess, Dan, you never saw his posts. The questions were
lame, and he should have known the answers. <<heheh>> If you argue at
everyone that asks a lame question, you build nothing but enemies. Curtis
was kind and offered a oneline answer. Kieth was great and offered a full
half hours worth of thought and typing. Steve was awesome and politely
corrected a minor flaw in Kieth's response. These guys show what this list
is for, to help someone having difficulties with a misbehaving Cobalt
device. If I was unable to make a go of being an ISP because it was not a
simple matter, as a salesman likely told me it was, I would also want to
sell off the raq and be finished. Hey, I belong to a list of Cobalt users,
perhaps one of them would like what I have.

Dan, he posted 3 lines. It took you more time to yell at him than it did to
read the mail.

http://www.mail-archive.com/cobalt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/msg17448.html This
was spam for sure.
http://www.mail-archive.com/cobalt-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/msg17452.html This
was the perfect response.

http://ftp.cobaltnet.com/lists/cobalt-users/msg07616.html This borders on
being spam, there is nothing to do with the maintnance of a Cobalt, just
some dumb prices. Hmm, wanna sell a Raq?

This is a great response, nothing to critique here.

I guess the answers offered are a reflection of what kind of day it is and
what the subject. Dan is helpful, he helped me tonight, but he seems to
have the manners of a Lion with a really bad toothache that keeps him from
eating or sleeping.

Give it a break please!
