Uh, Dan, I've been on the list for a couple weeks now, and the ONLY thing
you've contributed is complaints about others not using the archives, or
spamming. To me, and correct me if I'm wrong (I'm sure I don't have to ask
you to do that) what you are doing IS spam. The worst kind. It's kind of
like a virus hoax that does more damage than the virus would have done,
because everybody sent it to everybody in his or her address book anyway...
Posting an email to tell someone else that his or her email didn't need to
be posted is a little hypocritical isn't it? Now, we all know about
opinions, and I'm just stating mine, but I did search the archives for you,
and this opinion of mine seems to be shared by a few. I am a part of many
mailing lists, and it seems like there is always somebody(or three) that
seems to think it's their responsibility to point out the posts that don't
need to be there, or people they think might be advertising. Nobody really
appreciates it, and if it was something to worry about, lots of people would
comment. There comes a point when just simply their name on the list
invalidates whatever they are posting. You've already accomplished that for
me, and I don't even bother to look at your posts. I'm sure that's not what
you intend, or want, but I know that a lot of people feel that way. I have
found that people that Spam, or advertise their business, or ask stupid
questions eventually stop spamming, realize that advertising in this manner
is ineffective, or get smarter about the questions they ask. Posting
negative remarks about the other post invariably leads to more postings, or
just a complete ignoring of the person (you, in this case)
I'm sure this will start something, but I felt It had to be said. And yes, I
am posting it to the list, but mainly as a check of myself, and my standing
on this issue.

No thanks. I don't do business with spammers.
