[cobalt-users] RaQ4 performance: slow first page load

I've had my RaQ4 for only a few weeks and it's on a fast connection. I was
very happy with the speed at first, and still am, except for when accessing
a site for the first time in a browser session, which gives an annoying
pause of a few seconds. IE says "Web site found. Waiting for reply" in the
status bar, then suddenly the whole site loads, apparently very quickly.
After this navigation to other pages in the site is very rapid. But if you
quit the browser, then try to return to one of them, the pause occurs again.

I've done very little to the server as yet. There's only one site - the
"master" site - and two domain names pointing to it.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this?
