Re: [cobalt-users] Miva Commerce Raq

My god, that is highway robbery! In a very slow internet economy how the heck does miva expect the average joe hosting company to afford these horrible prices?

In response to the couple of nasty emails I received regarding my last post about ShoppingQ.com, I think you people are nutts for paying these prices and not using the shoppingq product.

All I stated in my eariler post was a simple fact that you all should check out shoppingq as an alternative to miva. Those email flames from the "Miva snobs" were really uncalled for and since this thread was discussing miva and someone else posted info about alternatives, I dont think my post was out of line. Sharing information is what this forum is all about - at least that's what I think it should be.

I posted a detailed review of this product in the www.webhostingtalk.com archives - in the Web Hosting and Web Development section - in case any non-miva snobs are interested about what I think of this vendor's software and why we like it.

No need to flame me again, I am still smoldering from the last bombardment. But I do think you people need to take a look at this thing. Bitwise may not be a huge corporation like miva but they do have a nice product and it is reasonably priced.

Maybe I am missing something here or I am totally wrong, but why pay miva prices when there is something cheaper, better, and faster available?
