This entire discussion makes me shudder uncontrollably.
You *do* realize that what your user is going to end up accomplishing
is getting a bunch of people who don't give a hoot about his site;
they just know that there's a free email there that they can sign up
for and then send out spam with???

What's the default mailbox size on these accounts going to be? How
much space is this website allowed to have? Don't forget that on the
Cobalts, mail is also included in a group's size quota.

Allowing a user to run his own personal Hotmail is NOT NOT NOT a good
idea. Did I mention it's NOT a good idea??
And I seem to remember Jeff Lovell (I'm pretty sure it was Jeff)
saying once, when we were discussing this very mailing list and what
it ran on, that "4000 mail users would CRUSH a RaQ".

Tell your user to hand over his email to Everyone.net, or if he still
wants to be able to access his own mail through POP, to set up a
ZZN.com account and hand those emails out.
