think that someone here once commented that in some cases one command
works for the other, but i don't remember if it's on both sides, or only
one way around, and if only one way around, then which one. Anyhow, the
last way I posted *is* the correct one, if you're following manuals.

One more thing, make SURE that only the owner will have write permission
to that script (otherwise every user can change it and basically have
root) and unless really needed, drop read (not execute) permission from
the group/other as wel.

Remember, wrong permissions or badly programmed software which are SUID to
root are crackers' first way into your box... :-)
