The other alternative is to lo into the server via ssh, su to root
cd /home/packages then ftp or wget the file from the cobalt site.

The truly paranoid, like myself, will then grab the package and save it on
a computer other than the server.  The logic is if you are hacked and
use the restore cd...you have the packages available without having to
connect the newly restored(and very vulnerable) server to the network to
get the packages.
