as root - sometimes it gives a few lines of where it finds the info and then
dies, sometimes it dies straight away - it is the more recent additions to
the filesystem that are not showing. I had a partition full earlier and that
could have caused it (?) - plenty of space now - but need to re-create that
database wherever it is
