Have you tried to manually edit the /etc/passwd file? That should delete
the user. You'll also want to remove the username from the /etc/shadow
file, and manually delete the associated home directory.

I've searched the knowledge base and archives, but I can't seem to find a
solution...
The web interface choked in the middle of adding a user to a virtual site.
Now, that user doesn't appear in the web interface, but I can't re-add
because "user already exists."
How do I manually correct this?
