[cobalt-users] writelcd and swritelcd

there doesnt seem to be a manual entry for these 2 programs, writelcd and
swritelcd, 

Im using the syntax   writelcd "string"  

but when I do writelcd "big long string"

the text is too wide for the panel.. how do i print to the second row of the
panel? is there a special character for line feed? 

I tried /n but got the symbol for Yen instead :) (or shadowrun money..?)
