Ok - It's off. I only turned it on so that I could
telnet to port 25 to test the SMTP. But I realised
later that it wasn't necessary to turn it on since
port 25 is always available in this way.
Related to this, is it possible to turn on APOP for
the admin account since it seems rather silly for me
to go through all this process with SSH if I give the
password away the next time I check admin email. Or
should I just forward that to another account? Easiest
I guess.
And uploading web pages? Can I do that through the SSH
port?
