Personally, I think it's a little harsh to delete customer files that
quickly. Preventing a customer from having the files they weren't smart
enough to backup might make you feel better, but it could hurt your
reputation and it won't get you your money. I usually keep a tarred/gzipped
copy of a site, mail spools and customer databases for months after a site
is suspended. Hard drive space doesn't cost me much and you never know when
someone could have a good reason for not getting back to you quickly enough.
After I suspend a site I charge a fee to reinstate it. That might be
something you want to consider. After all, if I have to manually change
passwords and configuration files and then change them back later it takes
time and time is money.
