I am not familiar with Michael Ackermann's instructions, but if you backed
up the Apache binary (/usr/sbin/httpd) you can copy it back to that location
and restart Apache until you get the problem solved. If you didn't, you now
know to *always* backup files before upgrading them.

It's hard to tell what you did since you just mention names of people whose
instructions you borrowed. I've been on these lists since 1999 and it's
hard to remember every post out of the tens of thousands so far. <grin> I
think you installed a new Apache binary at /usr/sbin/httpd so if you don't
have the old one you have a problem. Perhaps someone else with a

Yes. There's no reason anyone should be running PHP3 now. If your
programming in PHP you're missing out in a lot of new features available in
PHP4 and if you're installing programs in scripts pretty soon there will be
none you can run since more and more are written for PHP4 and can't run in
PHP3.

Someone posted instructions for installing PHP4 into Apache 1.3.x binary on
this list somewhere between April 22 and 26 if you want to search the
archives for it. I'm pretty sure the words "Apache" and "RaQ2" were in the
subject. The RaQ2 and Qube2 both run on the mips architecture and what
works for the RaQ2 should work for the Qube2.

If you continue to have problems it will help if you post the steps you
followed.
