Are you attempting to use the bizare site-adm list?  After several emails
from Sun/Cobalt explaining how to make it play...I gave up in disgust
getting the error messages you've posted.

I finally hacked it into submission...ain't pretty, involves too much
work, but finally I can email all the clients and they can't use the list
to chit-chat.

As soon as I document what I've done, I'll make it available.
