Hi Group,
Does anyone know what bus speed the RaQ3's are *suppose* to be running? I
thought it was 66MHz, the 512 RAM in the box are 100MHz chips, but I'm seeing
33MHz in my logs after installing the latest kernel patch (Kernel update
4.0.1). Everything seems to have gone in without a hitch, but something felt a
little strange (slow) after the box came back up from it?s reboot... I kept
looking around, and couldn't find anything out of the ordinary, but it just
seems like it?s a bit slower after installing this kernel update. So I went
poking through the logs (below) and noticed the kernel setting itself up at
33MHz... Now I realize little blue is terribly underpowered, but I was certain
they were running at 66MHz and NOT 33MHz prior to this update. That would
certainly explain why the system seems a bit slower if I'm correct. I also
thought it a little strange (in hind-sight) that Cobalt has yet to announce
this update. Now I'm thinking they might be waiting a few days to see how many
systems this new kernel trashes (from their previous track record with
patches) before making this one "official".
So what Bus Speed should the RaQ3 be running, 33MHz or 66MHz.. (I'm sure it's
not 100MHz or 133MHz)?
