Hi Guys,
I was demonstrating a Qube3 the other day which is running OS 6.1 ... I
created a new group, but it didn't appear as an Appleshare volume.
Has anyone else seen this?
I have now updated this Qube3 to OS 6.2 and the missing volume is now
available to Mac users. I don't believe it was a reboot issue, although
installing OS 6.2 required a reboot.
Having said that I've just created a new group and once again it has failed
to get "published".
Stopping and starting netatalk appears to have resolved the problem and now
new groups are being published as Appleshare volumes.
I really wish Cobalt would publish full technical notes on what is added,
updated, replaced, or removed in these updates.
Is anyone else experiencing problems with Appleshare volumes after applying
these OS updates?
Cheers, Malcolm
