[cobalt-users] Logs still driving me crazy on RAQ3

Ok I have looked in the archives and a few people are seeing this to but 
now real anwser
the web based stats only show the last 24 hours
The web.log file however contains much more than this actually until its 
rotated

It appears this is caused but the fact the  spilt_logs program that runs 
actually uses the data form the last 24 hours
not the data in the web.log
Nothing wrong with this but I would have assumed that it would append that 
data to that made form analog

I guess the other option is it only run split logs once per week and that 
looks easy enough to do
move the crondaily  logrotate  to cron.weekly

But I would think that fixing the append would be better
Has any one got it going as per desgin ?

The other werid log thing is that the web.log is somtimes out of sequence 
not sure what causes that though
