Come again? That sounds weird.

For the record, I'm commenting without any specific RaQ knowledge. Just
plain RedHat knowledge.
RPM 4 has been designed to be able to install on RedHat 5.2 and upwards.
I've succesfully installed it on RedHat Linux 5.2, 6.2 and 7.0.

Personally, I first issue the command "rpm -Uvh [name].rpm --test" to see
what might happen. If no errors are found, the "--test" gets dropped and all
goes well.

rpm* and db3*.

ftp://updates.redhat.com might be a good bet. Look in the 6.2/i386 dir.

As I mentioned above. Do a "rpm --rebuilddb" right after installing. It
might take some time, so don't be alarmed right away.

At least I saw Dee around yesterday (March 28th)... Yes, Carrie is missed.
:-(

Greetings and good luck... Nico
