Does this not show another problem with the Cobalt.

You have to do --nodeps to get 2.5.2p2-1 to install on a RaQ3 due to the
RPM binary being of an old version and this version requires at least rpm
version of 3.0.5 and at this point RH have even updated rpm to 4 due to
security and other reasons. I mean really.

I don't even dare to upgrade this manually as I don't know what it will do
to the GUI and can't have that broken users use it to much.

Would be nice to be like less than 3 months behind.

The other thing is they could come with SSH installed standard which comes
with sftp and have standard FTP and Telnet there but OFF shipped so you
have to turn it on and understand that it is a security risk.

I mean why can't we have secure servers and have to our selves downgrade
the services by turning them on if we need to. (not me)

Is there anyone from Sun/Cobalt who can offer sugestions on these
questions would be great.
