I realised that I have a vanila raq3 with a slight addition of webalizer. Following is a listing of the cron directorys from /etc
cron.d:
kmod webalizer
cron.daily:
logrotate makewhatis.cron ntpdate.auto slocate.cron tmpwatch vacuumdb
cron.half-hourly:
cron.hourly:
cron.monthly:
cron.quarter-daily:
poprelayd.custodiat
cron.quarter-hourly:
cron.weekly:
makewhatis.cron
As you can see nothing unusual in any of the directories. I have to agree that your script in cron.hourly seems to be a little strange. Was there anything that you had installed that was not "standard config"? I can only say that this is where I would start to look. I hope that this helps.
