You might need someone more experienced with Raq3's to answer this.
Personally, I've not seen any scripts in cron.hourly unless the server
was running INN or it was something I specifically put there.

It would, to me, be a quirky arrangement to periodically kill the DNS
server and restart it. A normal configuration shouldn't require this.

My paranoia sets in when considering the latest BIND exploits. The fact
that the script self destructed when edited would certainly raise my
antennae. But then, I'm no expert on Raq3's, I may be wrong and it is
just a quirky configuration. If someone out there knows better, I'll
stand corrected.
