I had a number of sites using the same IP address. As the servers main site
is now using SSL, I am changing the IP addresses for all the other sites. I
have updated the DNS for the other sites to point to one of my other IP
addresses. Then I went to the site settings for the other sites (the ones
that were getting a new IPs) and changed the IP address there. Now when I go
to the domain name for one of these other sites (where I changed the IP) I
end up viewing the servers main site. I presume this will straighten itself
out on its own, but could I have done anything different? Would adjusting
the time settings in the SOA for the sites with the new IPs have helped
speed things up any? Should I reboot the server or perhaps restart the
server with (RaQ 4)
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd stop
/etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
Thanks - Arthur
