I've been watching my hd for the last month now turn it-self from a prim
dolphin into a whale and received a complaint from it last night that the
file system was getting very full. After speaking to cobalt, Netherlands,
they suggested deleting files, programs no longer needed or used and I did.
However, the first partition is still peaking at 91%.. The only extra
programs installed on the server are mysql and port/log check/hostsentry.
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available Use% Mounted on
/dev/md1 743371 679174 64197 91% /
/dev/md3 198275 15446 182829 8% /var
/dev/md4 18107071 439294 17667777 2% /home
What can I do to cut its size down?
JA
P.S I read through a thread on the archive on a similar problem with a
qube2 user and his 'fix' was to move /usr/local into /home/local and create
a symbolic link.
