Further to my previous post:
Webfusion have now implemented phase 1 of their system upgrade by the
addition of a new pipe from pipex.. another is apparently due to be
installed in May..
Meanwhile our RAQ problems there have dissipated and service has returned to
normal levels, I'm pleased to say.. I assume the 2nd phase can only improve
performance still further whilst upgrading redundancy / resilience..
A good result, but it's a pity no one at Webfusion took the time to properly
communicate with their client base in the early stages of the problem.. a
lesson learned perhaps.?
Just for info.. the original Easynet pipe which appeared to be the problem
at
Webfusion is now handling outgoing traffic only, inbound being routed to the
new connection as primary.
Incidentally.. I did manage to agree compensation of 1 month free hosting
for our RAQ4i !!
