1. I used the list "name" of "pdxbiker" (it's for local Harley

it?
Both, but preferably pdxbiker@xxxxxxxxxx, it's shorter.

Thanks for answering all of my questions. I found both the
Cobalt documentation and the Majordomo site info to be missing some
key points, for me. Your help was fantastic and greatly appreciated!
The only questions that I have left are about the E-mail:
1. Majordomo sends bounces and other mail to either of the following addresses:
owner-<listname>@<domain>
<listname>-approval@<domain>
I haven't figured out how to receive these posts - even though I've
set my RaQ3 to accept any username at my (primary) domain name.
Perhaps it's the hyphens that are causing the trouble. Neither Cobalt
nor Majordomo seem to have any info on receiving the mail from these
default addresses. I know that I can change at least one of them
("owner") in the Majordomo config file. However, that's not the point.
2. Even after editing the "config" file for Majordomo, I still get
the "X-Authentication-Warning" header use the "-f" flag line in the
header. The exact line reads:
----
X-Authentication-Warning: tesla.iweb4biz.com: mail set sender to
Majordomo-Owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx using -f
----
Any suggestions on these? TIA
Patrick Beart
