Can the web admin interface be tweaked to enter usernames longer than 12

Response
The solution to the limitation of 12 characters per user name would be to
create an alias under the user account. This would allow for email addresses
of over 12 characters even with the Linux limitations on user name lengths.
This will only work for email. For all other features the user name is
limited to 12 characters.

But that did not add them to the cobalt database... Try the meta verify
program.... and see if it will put them in... It could happen?
