I'm not sure if this is causing it, but make sure that in your smb.conf file on
the Qube it says "domain master = no". I don't know if "yes" is the default
setting, but my Qube2 was set to "yes" in our NT environment, and every time I
brought the PDC down (or even just rebooted it) the Qube2 would take over
(symbolically) as PDC. I assumed it was another NT server promoting itself but
after a lot of frustration it turned out to be the Qube all along. Set it to
"no" and the problem went away.
