When I did it, I recreated the sites on the new RaQ2 in the same order they were on the old one so that www.whatever.com that was site1 on the old was site1 on the new, etc. Then I used the backup utilitiy on the RaQ, *important* after recreating all the users on the new RaQ2, to backup each site and restore it on the new RaQ2.
It should let you restore even though it may not say that it is supported. I don't think that the manual says it's _not_ supported.
