[cobalt-users] new to php - mySql - banner ad rotater Newby Help Needed...

we need to set up "MySQL-user who can read/write only the desired
database" ... of course i have no idea what this means

we want to use a php ad banner program,

i have time to learn php and my sql and am wondering if anybody has any 
nifty links for mysql and php for dummies...

we are new to  a raq 4 ...

we would like to use http://phpwizard.net/projects/phpAds/index.html

if you have a recomendation for an easier to instal pgm, i am all ears!
