Hi Andy,
We have two sperate connections. They look good from here on
both. Quite good in fact. When our clients bring things like this to
our attention I like to use a remote gateway to check things out.

Could be indicative of but, as I said, things look good from
here so your guess is as good as mine.

Even if they have two or more connections, there is no
guarantee that you'll ever see more than one of them. If they are
runing BGP using remote gateways located in various parts of the
world will most probably eventually result in your seeing the
additional connections.
However, they don't have to be and may not be running BGP
but yet still have multiple connections and a very reliable network.
Both RIP and OSPF can support multiple connections. OSPF, for
example, is often used with redundant connections - if the primary
fails route traffic out the secondary. RIP can do much the same.
