Not a good idea. Try to get at least dual-processor 1GHz
Pentium-III boxes with lots of RAM, say 2GB. Then use
RAID for storage. If SCSI RAID-5 (which is the right
solution) is too rich for you, then you can try four (4)
EIDE Maxtor 80GB drives in a RAID 0+1 configuration on a
Promise card or similar. (Skip the Pentium IV, though.)
Honestly, if you're asking these questions, you probably
don't have the knowledge yet to set this up. Do a little
more research into the loads implied by webmail and then,
in a couple of weeks, you'll be far better prepared to
buy yourself a server farm.
