Hi,
I'm planning to install a whole soution of free email accounts with webmail
for one of our sites. This site should have about 20.000 registered user in
a few months.
I'd like to use a Cobalt solution (based on RaQ4s for instance) with a third
party program (webmail, IMP...). My questions are :
- Does anybody know a good and *robust* webmail client ?
- If I offer 5M per user, I need 100G in disk. To do this I will have to
dispatch storage on different machines with backup / failover recovery
solutions. Are RAID solutions on Cobalt servers strong enough for my needs ?
- Do I have to create a network of RAQs for the front-end interface
(webmail) and filers (such as Cobalt NAS) for the storage space ? Is it
possible ?
- Finally, for you, how many concurrent webmail users can a Cobalt server
deal with (only the webmail interface will be on Cobalt boxes, the rest of
the site is on other machines) ?
Thank you for helping me.
