Have you made sure your default settings for adding new users is set up for
the first initial last name?

Hello,

I have a strange thing happening when adding new users and I couldn't find
anything similar in the archives. When I add new users with the username
equal to first initial last name, the e-mail alias for this combination is
not created. The 'fname.lname' alias is created, but I have to go into the
virtusertable and manually add the first initial last name as an alias
pointing to this user. This was working properly at some point because most
of the users have this alias listed. However, if I make any change to an
existing user, they lose this alias. Any ideas what could be wrong?
