Here is the one I'm using on a domain that's in process of moving. It
redirects any errors to the main page. This is all I have in the .htaccess
file ... you're welcome to try it with this URL ...
http://www.asuservice.com/dontwork.html ... I use some similar on several
domains. Oh, don't know if it matters but this is a RaQ2.

ErrorDocument 401 http://www.asuservice.com
ErrorDocument 403 http://www.asuservice.com
ErrorDocument 404 http://www.asuservice.com
ErrorDocument 500 http://www.asuservice.com

well call it a typo i have set all err to the same page.. no go

anybody that has a directory specific custom err page returned with htaccess
err, please share your htaccess file with this group...
