be carefull tho, this doesn't wrk for all services, in fact, it doesn't
for most, you have to restart the services after to make them close the
old log and open a new one, some services require that you create an ampty
file for them with the right permissions, it's best to let logrorate
scripts do this, if you don't like how much space they take up it's fairly
easy to edit them and specify a smaller size limit...
