LOL, atleast another one catches on. Other major linux vendors (redhat etc...) release bugs way before cobalt does and it makes the systems alot more efficient and secure. ALONG with making the machine more customizable w/out worrying about the cobalt warranty and paying like $200 an hour to fix anything (even their own bugs!!!) - We have already purchased 4 linux machines and are almost done with software to transfer the customers.
We have created a control panel with more features than cobalts.
We are enjoying the speed and freedom of our new servers much more than cobalts.
There is no reason to wait for cobalt to fix their problems weeks after others do and even worse is we are seeing an emerging pattern of buggy cobalt patches! (webstats: /dev/null problem dissable's the system, glibc will dissable the gui etc......)

Finally, cobalt released patch for bind to patchlevel 7.
I installed the package, but the sympton which makes named eat cpu resources
up to 99% is still exist! My name server, at most of the time, cannot respon
to querry host request from outside. I am close to desperate looking for a
way out..
Is there anybody in this list can guide me to get rid of this problem?
I am thinking about moving to a real Linux box with Intel processor, install
all the latest version of services needed for running a web server, hire
some perl/cgi/linux gurus for a week or two and ask them to build a system
interface for maintaining a complete internet server.
How about that? :-)
A little bit invest with a hope for painless future, eh..
