My apologies in advance if this has been done before, but I cant find it searching the archives, and I'm stuck.
Newbie, by the way!
After creating a virtual site, I cant gain FTP access to the root folder web of a virtual site, without going in as RAQ
Administrator!
If I use the username and password of the Virtual Site, site admin, it takes me to the users web directory not the main site.
It's possible for me to enter the correct folder using RAQ passwords, but if I'm passing access permissions to a client, I'm
obviously not going to provide the server passwords.
I must be doing something wrong but what!
I'm using Dreaweaver FTP and have host defined as my one and only IP address (although I've tried sitename www.sitename.co.uk). I
would think the path should be /home/sites/site1/web which should take me to root level of the virtual site, but always it fails. It
will succeed with nothing or /web as path, with user or site admin details.
I dont understand it, any ideas?
Many Thanks
